There is a sudden propagandistic push to create angst on how Ukraine is disrespecting Dear Leader Porn Star Humper. That’s a classic gang tactic.
On the streets back in my drug war days, respect was currency. Disrespect meant trouble if not war. It was a really serious thing on the streets. And it was not just the gang members. It affected me working undercover or later working uniformed patrol. Respect went a long way on the street. I took a different angle on street law and engaged in the more refined tactic of rapport.
Rapport on the streets gave you a strong advantage. The first is survivability. When you aren’t a complete asshole to everyone you meet, the less likely it is that trouble or violence will start. Second, rapport is a method of building relationships that produce the outcomes you want: information and cooperation. If you want more positive outcomes on the street (or in jail/prison), rapport is a tool of the successful.
Now quite unfortunately, I think the rapport between Putin’s Kremlin and Dear Leader’s White House is not about positive outcomes. I fear it is more of an evil Postdam Conference with Putin and Dear Leader deciding amongst themselves how to carve up the world into gang territories. The gang tactic stands out to me like a sore thumb. I do think that Dear Leader idolizes Putin in an odd and possibly homoerotic way. Dear Leader knows Putin has become the richest person on Earth by seizing the wealth, infrastructure, and dividends of the Russian economy. The oligarchs “own” the business (you got to make it look somewhat legit), but in a mafioso method, the oligarchs owe Putin an envelope every week…or else.

The Trump administration's approach has further exacerbated tensions. A notable instance is the proposal demanding Ukraine allocate 50% of its mineral wealth, valued at $500 billion (billion with a B), to the U.S. This proposition was presented alongside admonishments for Ukraine to cease its criticisms of President Trump, effectively leveraging economic aid and political support to extract substantial concessions from a nation already beleaguered by conflict. Such tactics mirror coercive strategies often employed by authoritarian regimes, where economic and political pressures are utilized to achieve favorable outcomes without regard for the sovereignty or welfare of the targeted nation. This is nothing short of a shakedown. Yes, as Putin terrorizes Ukraine, Dear Leader and his street gang are trying to shakedown an entire country FOR A HALF TRILLION DOLLARS!!!

Coffeezilla brought the receipts, interviewed a co-conspirator, and almost got control of the $100M in funds missing in the $LIBRE rug pull.

Instead of trying to shake down Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people, we should be trying to build rapport with the Ukrainain people (and the Estonians, the Moldovians, the Polish, etc.). We should be steadfastly supporting our allies on the front lines agianst the evil neo-Sovet empire and its dispicable dictator. I served in the military in the Cold War in West Germany, I understand the Western Alliance. The abandonment and then blackmail of the Ukrainians are morally wrong and goes against the aims of the Western Alliance aka The Free World.
